eJobCosting provides a means to track actual Revenue for Materials, Labor and Freight and actual Costs for Materials, Sub Labor and Freight, while assigning a burdened cost for Internal Labor, allowing a view of the Job profitability within NetSuite.

• This is accomplished by the Users identifying the Job or Sales Order to be used for gathering all of the associated Revenues and Costs. 
• Users simply select the Job or Sales Order for Costing on EACH Transaction that should be included (including Time Records, Expense Reports, etc).
• Costs are categorized as Administrative, Freight, Labor-Subcontractor, Labor-Internal, Material or Job Expense by assigning a Job Costing Item Type to each Item.
• Three different Labor Costing Methods are provided.  Each costing method uses different rate assumptions to assign Costs to the Job or Sales Order.
• Job Burden Default Cost/Hr
• Internal Labor Item Cost/Hr or
• Cost per Employee Type

• Each Job will have a Job Costing Tab. As shown below, this tab provides you with Summary Information regarding the Job, as well as subtabs by category for all expenses associated with the job or sales order.  The information provided is updated continuously throughout the life of the project.
