dNet is a Low Voltage Industry enterprise solution. dNet will allow Low Voltage companies to manage their processes from lead to proposal and sales order and delivery to invoicing and ongoing service work. dNet includes Customer Relationship Management, Accounting, Inventory Management, Project Profitability and will soon include Project Management.
Epiphany has worked with several Low Voltage companies over the past three years to develop the dNet solution. These companies needed fully integrated processes to eliminate duplicate entry, redundant work and they needed to gain a comprehensive view of their business. Most of these companies replaced a hodgepodge of product combinations such as Peachtree, ACT!, and AutoCad, with dNET. Each of those products had strengths, but were virtually impossible to synchronize and establish solid processes to allow for rapid growth.
One of the most difficult obstacles to overcome when purchasing new software is to align the best practices of business processes, the software and your current business model to the new software. It is for this reason that many software implementations fail. Job Profitability
Most companies want a quick and easy way to determine the profitability per each job. dNet allows you to assign a base cost rate per each type of labor item. The actual hours worked will be divided by the cost to determine your profitability of labor. You are also able to enter the estimated hours and measure against actual hours used. Further, if you have a fixed price bid, dNet will show you the bid amount against the actual hours * the base cost rates.
The bills associated with this project will also be included during the life of the project. When the project is completed, simply mark it and no more revenue nor costs will be assigned to the project and a final profitability number will be shown.
Finally all of this data is assembled into a quick Job Profitability dashboard to allow executives a fast, easy way to measure profitability per job and per job phase.
Project Manager Center
dNet has an embedded process to allow you to manage outstanding projects via a weekly/daily/monthly meeting with your staff to quickly review outstanding projects. These projects are color-coded to quickly identify problem projects. Included with this center is a process for your project managers to update their projects in real time. Executives are sent alerts for those projects that need special attention.
